Pessac-Léognan

The reputation of this French wine appellation is such that it is considered the cradle of the Bordeaux vineyards.

The winemakers of Pessac-Leognan are more than ever attached to the unique terroir of their Appellation, and this since the 18th century. The modern and increasingly grape-friendly reception and winemaking facilities testify to their concern for the preservation of the land.

Pessac-Léognan offers for this new millennium great red and white wines worthy of their plural origins, harmonious balance between the terroir, the plant and man.

The estate faces the Château Haut-Brion. He shares with him this vast terrace of beautiful gravel, enclosed between the streams of the Peugue and the Serpent and called Haut-Brion on ancient maps and charters. These graves that contribute to the wine-growing value of the soil of Château La Mission Haut-Brion are small pebbles, formed of different varieties of quartz.

Great care is given to the vine to produce grapes of high quality for the future vintage.
