In 1987, the Gervoson family purchased Château Larrivet Haut Brion, an emblematic wine estate in Pessac Léognan. At the time, the vineyard covered 17 hectares and the park surrounding the château 13 hectares.
Today, the vineyards cover 75 hectares, 61 hectares of which are planted with red grape varieties. The 12-hectare park surrounding the château has been preserved. It has become a haven of peace and biodiversity. The new technical team at the head of the estate, comprising Bruno Lemoine, Charlotte Mignon and François Godichon, is highly efficient. Here, everything is done to bring out the purest expression of the fruit: precise viticulture, Burgundian-style vinification and trials with ageing containers.
